• Elkin Offices — Blue Ridge Cardiology and Sleep Medicine
Dr. Tomas Vybiral, M.D.is board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Vybiral graduated from Basel University School of Medicine in Switzerland in 1985. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX in 1993. Dr. Vybiral was born in Czechoslovakia. In his free time, he enjoys working with and breeding Belgian Draft Horses.
Dr. Jan Kriska, M.D.is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He graduated from Comenius University in Slovakia in 1991. He completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI in 1997. Dr. Kriska is originally from Slovakia, and in his free time he participates in triathlons, soccer and biking.
Stephania Jordan, FNP-Cis a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Campbell University with a BA in Psychology and a BSN from Winston-Salem State University. She completed her education at Winston-Salem State University. Ms. Jordan is a native of Winston-Salem, NC and enjoys spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
Susan Edwards, ANP-BC is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career in 2001. She finished her education at East Carolina University earning a Master of Science in Nursing. She is a native of Alleghany County. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
Melissa Benson, ANP-BC, GNP-BC is a Board Certified Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her MSN at Vanderbilt University, her BSN at Queens University of Charlotte, NC, and BS in Biology from Judson College in Marion, Al. She is a native of Mooresville, NC and recently married. Enjoys traveling, live music, and spending time with family.
Charlotte Cassell, FNP-C is a Certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Mercy School of Nursing as an RN, received her BSN at Winston-Salem State and her Masters of Nursing Education at the University of Phoenix. She is a native of Ararat and is married with two children. She enjoys reading and gardening.
Martha Johnson, RCVS is a registered Cardiac and Vascular Sonography technician. Martha graduated from Forsyth Technical Community college in 1974. She enjoys reading and being the “taxi driver” for her children and all their activities.
Adam Beckham, RTN is a certified Nuclear Technologist. A native of Augusta, GA, Adam graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College in 2003 with a Nuclear Medicine Technology Degree. In his spare time he enjoys soccer and football.
Kerry Williams is the clinical manager for the Elkin Blue Ridge Cardiology and Sleep Medicine office. Mrs. Elder graduated from Surry Community College. She is originally from Erie, PA and enjoys spending her spare time with friends and family.
June L. Sides is the Director of Operations of our Practice. A native North Carolinian, June has earned a Master of Science Degree from UNC Chapel Hill, is a Certified Medical Paractice Executive and a Certified Professional Coder. She travels both cross country and internationally, enjoys gardening and reading, especially biographies, novels and about the latest scientific discoveries.
Pam Vybiral is the Recruiter for Blue Ridge Medical Group. She is a graduate of Drury University in Springfield, Mo. She enjoys riding horses and doing yoga.
Eva-Jean Hodge is the Practice Administrator for Blue Ridge Medicine. She has a Bachelor of Science from Western Carolina University. Ms. Hodge is a native of Elkin, NC, and spends much of her free time rose gardening, reading and listening to music.
Debra Darnell is an Administrative Assistant for Blue Ridge Cardiology Medicine. She is a native of North Carolina and enjoys shopping, playing music and singing.

Dr. Andras Neumark, M.D. is certified in Internal Medicine. He graduated from Semmelweis University Medical School in Budapest, Hungary in 1985. He completed his residency at Millard Fillmore Hospitals in Buffalo, NY in 1994. Dr. Neumark is originally from Hungary. In his free time he enjoys biking, and listening to music.
Dr. Tamas Soos, M.D. is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. He graduated from Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Soos completed his residency and Geriatrics fellowship at SUNY in Buffalo, NY. In his free time Dr Soos enjoys the outdoors, photography, tennis and jogging.
Dr. Cristin Trecroce, D.O. is Board Certified in Family Medicine and accepts patients for general medical care, preventive medicine, ages 12 and up. She also offers bariatric counseling. Having graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997 she completed her residency in 2000. She is originally from Pennsylvania, is married with two children, and loves spending time with her family.
Dr. Faiza Rais-Reynolds, M.D. is Board Certified in Family Medicine. completed her Family Practice Residency in 2009 at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. Dr. Rais accepts patients for adult and pediatric medical care and preventive medicine, newborns and up. She is a native of Pakistan, is married and has one son. In her spare time Dr. Rais enjoys spending time with her family, homemaking and cooking.
Dr. Dennis Bauman, M.D. is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa at Williams College where he received his undergraduate degree and then earned his MD from Harvard Medical School. He was a Captain and Major in the US Army and was awarded the Bronze Star while serving in Vietnam. Dr. Bauman resides in Elkin. He is an avid golfer and biker and a fan of movies and good fiction.
Diane Martin is the Assistant Manager of our Elkin Medicine Office. A native of Thurmond, NC, Diane is both an experienced Medical Assistant and a Business College Graduate. In her spare time she likes to read and write poetry, paint, do arts and crafts, and loves all types of music, but especially gospel singing.
Nancy P. Arnold is the Wilkesboro and Elkin offices Area Manager. She graduated from Radford University and also Patrick Henry Community College. In her spare time, Ms. Arnold enjoys playing tennis, fishing and spending time with her dogs.

Dr. Tamas Balogh, M.D. is Board Certified as a Cardiologist. Dr. Balogh graduated from Semmelweis University Medical School in Budapest, Hungary. He completed his residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Balogh in originally from Hungary and in his spare time enjoys swimming, biking and travel.
Dr. Catalin Burciu, M.D. is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Palliative Medicine. He graduated from the University of Medicine And Pharmacy Carol Davila in Bucharest, Romania in 1989. Dr. Burciu completed his residency at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland, OH in 1999. Dr. Burciu is originally from Romania.
Jennifer Chapman, M.D. Board Certified in Family Medicine, she accepts patients for general medical care and preventive medicine, ages 6 and up. Originally from Winston-Salem, she graduated from East Carolina School of Medicine in 1997 and completed the Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program in 2000. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and cross-stitching.
Dr. Lucian Vlad, M.D. Board Certified in Family Medicine, accepts patients for general medical care and preventive medicine, newborns and up. He also treats skin conditions, offers minor skin surgery and performs joint injections. Born in Romania, Dr. Vlad studied Medicine at the University of Sibiu and completed his Residency In Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Vlad and his wife Lucia have two children. As pasttime, he enjoys table tennis and chess.
Delores E. Johnson, FNP-BC is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner who obtained her Master of Nursing degree from East Carolina University. She is a native of Mt. Airy, married to Dale Johnson, enjoys spending time off with her family and loves horseback riding.
Kelly Sale, NMT A native of Ronda, NC, Kelly obtained her degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from UNC Chapel Hill. She enjoys music, reading, cooking, hiking and shopping in her spare time.

Tammy Hooker is the Manager for the Mt. Airy Cardiology and Medical office. Ms. Hooker is a Certified Medical Assistant and graduated from Surry Community College. Ms. Hooker is a native of Mt. Airy and in her free time enjoys working with horses and dogs.

Vivian Seal, FNP-BC is a native of Surry County. She became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1985 through the MAHEC-UNC Chapel Hill program to train Nurse Practitioners to serve rural areas of North Carolina.

Michelle Wilson , FNP-C is a Certfied Nurse Practitioner . A native of Watauga County, Michelle graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2008. Michelle loves animals, especially dogs, and in her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Tina Watkins is our Wilkesboro Practice Manager. Originally from Delta, PA, and after graduating from the nursing program at York Vo-Tech in York, PA, Tina moved to Wilkes County in 2003. Tina enjoys spending her free time with her family and is actively involved in her church.

Dr. Vera Smith, M.D. is specializing in Adult Internal Medicine and offers extensive experience for ages 16 and up. She treats all adult chronic conditions, including Diabetes, Obesity, Heart and Lung conditions and High Blood Pressure. Originally from the Philipines, she graduated from the University of the East Medical Center, Quezon City in 1982. She completed her Residency at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family.
Alex Waite, D.O. is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and Winner of the 2010 Readers’ Choice Award of the Winston-Salem Journal “Best Family Physician”. Dr. Waite offers total family care from ages newborn to adult. He also offers minor skin surgeries, joint injections, sports physicals and preventive medicine. Dr. Waite is a graduate of Wake Forest University, Nova Southeastern University and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville Florida in 2009. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, and Wake Forest Football.
Kelley Waite, ARNP-C is a graduate of the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida. She has worked primarily in college health, both at the University of North Florida and Wake Forest University. Her primary interests are in children and adolescents, young adults and preventive care. In her free time she enjoys being with her family, Dr. Alex Waite and their young son, running, and gardening.
Crystal Holder is the Manager of the Yadkinville office. Mrs. Holder is originally from Boonville. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and scrapbooking.
Melissa Davis is the Insurance Manager for Blue Medicine. She is originally from East Bend, North Carolina. Mrs. Davis enjoys spending time with her son, going to movies, and playing Play-Station.
